IN WHITE PARK!
BRING YOUR LAPTOPS!
PLAY FEEDTANK’S FULL BODY GAMES!

In White Park, the playground across the street from MediaNoche East 106th Street, (between Lexington and Third Avenues)

Take the IRT #6 train to East 103rd Street and walk North three blocks to 106th Street, then hang a right. You can’t miss the basketball court and handball court wall.

Medianoche, the primo new media space located in the heart of Spanish Harlem aka “El Barrio” is providing free wireless internet access to East 106th Street, between Lexington and Third Avenues, and all of White Park!. Dignitaries are expected to attend the launch party in the park which is directly across the street from the gallery: U.S. Congressman Charles Rangel, NYS Senator Jose M. Serrano, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, and NYC Councilmember Melissa Mark VIverito are among them.

Medianoche_WiFi extends the physical space of the gallery into cyberspace, creating a dialogue with its neighbors and the world wide community. Everybody is welcome. Come play! Explore, learn and communicate through the free wireless access node.

MediaNoche hopes artists will propose new media works for the street, park and gallery. Contact us at escalona@medianoche.us or 212.828.0401.

Below are images of “Full body games” an interactive installation by Feedtank (http://www.feedtank.com). A live DJ set will be streamed live through the internet via Radio Isla Negra (www.rinfm.com). We expect a community jam session, a dialogue, a collaborative experience that not only will be seen and heard locally but globally.

Full Body Games is an interactive installation that allows users to engage in an unencumbered, full body gaming experience. The Full Body Games system projects the user's silhouette in front of them in relation to simple graphic game objects with which they can interact. The user can select from three different games: Color Shooter, Two Touch and Duck and Jump. All games were designed to be quick, simple, intuitive and encourage dramatic movement.
